Outdoor dining at one of the popular Kalbarri restaurants and cafes, perfect for enjoying fresh local meals

Tucked away just above Porter Street, Upstairs isn’t just a place to eat — it’s an experience. The elevated location gives you front-row seats to Kalbarri’s famous sunsets over the Murchison River, making it an ideal spot for a romantic dinner, a celebration, or just a relaxing night out.

Local Favourites on the Menu

A vibrant seafood platter at Upstairs Restaurant in Kalbarri featuring calamari, fish fillets, crab, lemon wedges, and dipping sauces, surrounded by fresh sides and garnishes.

Everyone has a go-to dish here. In our household, Linley swears by the grilled snapper — fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. Meanwhile, I can never resist the chicken satay — it’s one of those meals that hits the spot every single time.

But the menu offers something for every taste. From Shark Bay prawns to WA sirloin steak and a range of carefully selected wines and cocktails, Honor and Wayne have put love into every dish and drink.

A Warm Welcome Every Time

One of the reasons we keep coming back (aside from the food!) is the genuine hospitality. Honor and Wayne go above and beyond to make you feel at home — whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth.
